The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for the Nintendo Switch is one of the biggest games in terms of hype and excitement in 2023. But, it looks like there's been a bit of a hiccup just two weeks before the official launch of the game. Apparently, since physical copies of the game have already been shipped out, a few users who got their hands on them have now leaked the entire game on the internet. It got so bad that there were people actually streaming the game on Twitch and other streaming sites. There have even been rumours that the game’s ISO has already been ripped and posted online. We at Digit do not condone piracy so we urge fans to wait for the release day to experience the game and not have it spoilt by a few bad actors.
Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom leakThings have gotten so bad that users on Discors have even taken to adding disclaimers to not get on Nintendo’s wrong side. The Japanese company does not play around and even had a modder pay them $10 million over the course of his entire life. Nintendo does not mess around. Users on Twitter have also been at it posting images of the game in warehouses and comparing UPC inventory codes. Look, there are going to be people who want to access the leak and find out as much as they can and to them we say, go ahead. Just don’t spoil the game for the rest of us.
Tears of the Kingdom looks set to once again thrill audiences with its unique open-world and incredible physics-based engine but you’ll have to really avoid spoilers if you want to enjoy the game. As we mentioned above, it’s gotten so bad that the first few minutes of the game have already been spoiled and it seems that once players get further in the game, we can expect more late-game leaks. We are hoping that this does not deter fans from buying and enjoying the game once it comes out on May 12.
