Samsung Galaxy S21 FE one step closer to launch with TENAA certification

After receiving an FCC listing, the Samsung S21 FE now has China’s TENAA certification. According to the digital publication Myfixguide, the Samsung S21 FE is one step closer to launch. The recent Chinese listing also reveals a lot of important specs related to the S21 FE including its battery and screen size, along with several hints related to its other important specifications.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Leaked TENAA certification

Samsung S21 FE Leaked Specifications

For starters, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes with Android 11 out of the box and can support dual-sim standby mode. Additionally, it also has a 6.4 inch AMOLED screen, 5G connectivity with four bands including N41, N78, N79, N28 and a 4,370 mAh battery which is bigger than what its expensive cousin the Galaxy S21 is packing.

After the news popped up on the internet, Mysmartprice, noted that the Samsung S20 FE comes with an Octa-core processor clocked in at 2.8 GHz. Online reports speculate that the Galaxy S21 FE could feature the Snapdragon 888 but has not been confirmed yet.

Furthermore, the upcoming latest Samsung FE will pack 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. But opting for a lower storage version of the Galaxy S21 FE could be a better choice because it also has an expandable SD card slot, according to the TENAA listing. Other important specs of the Samsung S21 FE include a triple camera setup (32 MP + 12 MP + 8 MP) at the rear and a screen resolution of 1080 X 2340 pixels.

Samsung S21 FE Design, Price

Design-wise, the Galaxy S21 follows in the footsteps of Samsung’s latest S21 series, with a rectangular camera housing and a punch-hole selfie cam. One key difference is that the rear camera housing protrudes less in the leaked photos of S21 FE compared to the S21 series of smartphones. The Galaxy A52 and A72 feature a “merged” rear camera housing as well.

The previous leak also suggested that the S21 FE could have an aluminium back panel instead of plastic because of the presence of antenna bands. However, the more expensive S21 features a plastic case, so expecting something better on a device positioned below it makes little sense.

When it comes to pricing, we have no official word as of yet. But online speculation put the price of the Galaxy S21 FE at between Rs 44,000 and 58,000. However, with the global chip shortage going on in the background, Samsung could face trouble in pricing the S21 FE competitively.
