Micromax Infinity N12, N11 smartphones with 189:9 display aspect ratio, dual cameras launched in India

Micromax has launched two new smartphones under new Infinity-N-series in India, the N11 and the N12. The company has come up with these new phones, which feature a notched display and come with a glossy rear panel. Both the phones come with reduced bezels all around and feature an 18.9:9 display aspect ratio. The devices come equipped with a fingerprint scanner and dual cameras on the back. They both run on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box but Micromax has promised Android 9 Pie update for the devices in 45 days of launch.  Micromax Infinity N12, N11 Specifications The Micromax Infinity N12 and N11 feature the same design and almost the same specifications. However, they vary in terms of memory and the front camera configuration. The two phones feature a 6.19-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18.9:9 aspect display ratio. They are powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22 chipset, which is clocked at 2GHz. In terms of memory, the N12 comes with 3GB RAM, coupled with 32GB of internal storage while the N11 features 2GB RAM with the same 32GB of onboard storage.  In the camera department, the smartphones feature a rear camera with the same 13MP + 5MP sensor configuration. However, the N12 is touted to feature a wide angle lens. On the front, the N12 comes equipped with a 16MP sensor while the N11 sports an 8MP camera. They are backed by a 4000mAh battery, which is said to deliver around 30 hours of talk time and 18 hours of audio playback. As mentioned earlier, the handsets run on Android 8.1 Oreo and the Android 9 Pie update should be rolled out for them in 45 days. The phones come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, along with Face Unlock.  Micromax Infinity N12, N11 Price, Availability and Launch Offers Micromax has priced the Infinity N12 at Rs 9,999, while the N11 sports a price tag of Rs 8,999. The two phones are available offline and will soon be available online as well. For launch offers, Jio customers will get to avail a cashback of Rs 2,200 with 50GB additional data when they recharge with Rs 198 and Rs 299 plans.
