Actor Johnny Depp, who shot to fame with the role of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates Of The Carribean film series has been officially dropped from the franchise. "We want to bring in a new energy and vitality," Disney's production chief Sean Bailey told The Hollywood Reporter.
